Week 19
Not much happened this week. I think I've been feeling the baby move more. Yesterday it started moving while I was trying to eat and it tickled so much I had to stop for a few minutes. We go back on Wed. to find out if it's a boy or a girl. We are so excited! It seems like the last few days have been torture. The other night Jason said he couldn't wait so we could go shopping. We are itching to get the nursery done as we both know our schedules are going to get super busy real soon. I stopped by Target the other day and picked up two outfits. One was an infant boy GT footed onesie (that's GA Tech for those who don't know) and the other was an infant girl pink and white GT cheerleader outfit. Jason absolutely loved them. We hope to have a future yellow jacket here. If Jason gets his masters from there and the baby decides to go there then the baby will be a fourth generation graduate. Not bad! Anyway, our weekend is looking busy and then back to class and work. Fingers crossed that all goes well on Wed. We are already planning the ceremonies whether it's a girl or a boy. I'm really trying hard not to get stuck doing stuff at the last minute!

Week 18
This past week was pretty eventful. We went to the Southeast conference in Orlando. The trip went pretty well and I was amazed how well I held up. The baby moved a lot more this past weekend while we were there. I don't know if it was from all the excitement or what. When we got back I rested pretty much all week. It wasn't the most optimum way I wanted to spend my only vacation but what can you do. Sometimes priorities shift. Anyway, I think we figured out I may not be eating enough although I feel like I always get full. I'm having to force myself to eat a little more. Once I did, I noticed the baby moving more. I actually started week 19 today and early this moring I felt the baby wake up and move around for almost 45 minutes. I put my hand on the baby and he/or she calmed down a little but when I moved my hand the baby acted up again so I kept my hand on the baby and just let the little one move around until I fell asleep. I was getting worried because I hadn't really felt the baby all week. The baby did move last night at temple when the music started up. It was kinda funny. It felt like the baby was trying to kick in time. We'll see if we have a drummer or a dancer in about a week and a half. I can't wait to find out so we can start calling the baby by it's name and get the nursery decorated.

Week 17
Well, so far so good. We went to the doctor on Dec. 7th and everything sounds great. My blood pressure and weight gain are superb (at least I think so as I've only gained 5 lb total so far). The baby sounded great once the doctor found the heartbeat. Apparently she got it and then the baby kept moving around and away from the doppler so she had to keep chasing the baby down. She finally was able to corner the baby and get a heart rate of between 140 and 150. That's really good. I've been feeling baby move more. There are more flutters so to speak and they are more intense. It's kinda funny. Last night at the Chanukah party the baby started to move so intensely that I had to stop opening my gift. It felt like when you swing really high with your eyes closed and you feel your stomach drop. Anyway, it's great to feel the little one moving. As a matter of fact I thing the baby is moving or kicking now as I write. Yeah! The last two weeks have been rough. I got over a sinus infection and just playing catch up was draining. Then I strained my back about a week ago because I just wouldn't slow down. That was a very painful lesson to learn so now I'm trying to watch my activity level. We go back on Jan. 3 to find out if we are having Chaim or Aviella. We are absolutely fine with either or, we just want the baby to be healthy, happy and have a deep natural sense of G-d and spiritual obedience and intuition. As always keep us in prayer for the baby and the job situations as we are approaching such a wonderful and exciting turning point in our lives!

Week 14
This past week was pretty rough. I ended up with a sinus infection towards the end of week 13 and had to go on medicine. Oh how fun that was! It seems though that I have fully recovered and hopefully all is well with the baby. We haven't been able to hear the heart beat with our monitor as I believe it's a little early yet but I think we've heard the baby kick. It's easier to hear that than the heart beat at this stage. Today is Thanksgiving so we will be going over to Jason's family's house. I really wish we could have gone back to see my family but I think we're planning on doing that next year. We will be going into week 15 on Sat and going back to the doctor for a checkup on Dec. 7th. Fingers crossed that all is well. Hope you all have a great Thanksgiving!
Week 13
Well, we're half way through week 13 of the story of how Widdle Wyatt came to be. That is good news to me because I feel like things are settling down. Surprisingly I'm getting some energy back. Just in time as finals are less than a month away. I had a really wierd feeling on Monday and called the doctor. After talking to my friend and doing some research we deduced that I had felt what they call "fluttering". Basically it feels like when your eye twitches uncontrollably, but in your stomach and apparently that is the baby moving around a little. It's the first signs that you feel the baby. I haven't had it sense then but it was pretty cool. I'm really looking forward to the baby beginning to move around and express his or herself. Poor Jason is sick this week so I'm having to stay away from him and take care of him and the house the best I can. I feel bad because it seems like we've gone through an endless cycle of sinus/allergy stuff the last three months. At any rate, I'm off the medicine and things are going good. Our plans are to get the baby's room in order over the Thanksgiving holidays and then as quick as we can get the rest of the house ready. The dogs come up and sniff my stomach every chance they get. I hope they will be good with the baby. I know Shea loves babies and dotes on them when they come over. We should be taking some pictures soon of the two of us with the little one in the oven and hopefully getting a more updated ultrasound picture as the only one I have is of the baby at 6 weeks. Maybe I'll post that anyway just to see if any of you can guess where the baby is.
